Anyone who runs or even walks is going to have painful, swollen ankles from time to time. To help your strained ankle heal, you’ll need to bring down the swelling. In addition to ice packs (I like to use frozen peas), this oil blend works wonders to ease swelling, moisturize your skin and it smells great too!
As for simplicity, all I do is mix it in the palm of my hand:
1 teaspoon of carrier oil, I used fractionated coconut oil
2 drops of cypress oil (increases circulation)
2 drops of frankincense (reduces bruising and swelling)
2 drops of peppermint oil (cooling and reduces swelling)
Then apply right to the swollen area 3-4 times a day. Within 24 hours, my swelling is markedly improved.
thanks to the author for taking his time on this one.
