Hi, I’m Tina, an attorney and business owner, who has long been passionate about healthy eating and natural wellness. Though this wasn’t always the case. At the age of 25, I was overweight and my cholesterol levels were over 300 (normal is under 200). Doctors kept trying to get me to take statin drugs but I refused. I didn’t want to be on medication for the rest of my life and knew there had to be a better way. By taking charge of my diet and lifestyle, switching to whole foods and natural products, giving up junk food and chemical-laden personal care products, I lost weight and kept it off for years and my cholesterol level is well below the recommended 200 – all without any medication. I know these simple methods work, so I am excited to share them with you!
In 2003, I was certified as a Diet & Lifestyle Intervention Specialist and Wellness Coach. I taught healthy cooking and lifestyle classes at natural food stores and several wellness centers along with coaching students who were ready to make a change and take charge of their health. I advocate eating real food and using natural products because I have seen it change lives. I want everyone to feel their best, mentally & physically. All of the recipes and products that I recommend have been personally tested and approved by me and my family.
