These fizzy, tasty, better-for-you recipes can help you kick your cola habit for good.

Fresh Strawberry Soda

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound fresh ripe strawberries
  • sparkling water (I make my own with the Soda Stream which I love!)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Wash and trim the strawberries. Place them in a food processor and pulse until they are rough chopped, then scrape down the sides of the machine. Puree until completely smooth. Let the machine run for a minute or longer to insure a nice smooth puree. If you have a juicer or blender, that works fine too.
  2. Push the mixture through a mesh strainer, using the back of a large spoon to make sure as much of it gets through as possible. Most all of it should go through, leaving just the small seeds behind. You should have approximately a cup and a half of puree.
  3. To make soda, use 2 tablespoons of the puree for each 8 ounces of carbonated water. Mix and then serve immediately. You can adjust the amount of puree for a lighter or stronger flavor.
  4. The fruit puree will keep in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for a week.
  5. If you like you can add 2-3 drops of lemon essential oil to perk up the flavor of any fruit soda. On the other hand, if you find your soda is too tart, add a touch of honey or stevia.

Lime Soda

  • 2 drops lime essential oil – or your favorite citrus oil (always make sure essential oils are labeled safe for ingestion!)
  • Sweetener of choice – 5 drops of liquid stevia, spoonful of raw honey, maple syrup or agave
  • 16-32 ounces of sparkling water (I make my own with the Soda Stream which I love!)

Put essential oil and sweetener in glass, pour in water, add ice and sliced fruit as desired.

  1. Hello ,

I saw your tweets and thought I will check your website. Have to say it looks really nice!
I’m also interested in this topic + have recently started my journey as young entrepreneur.

I’m also looking for the ways on how to promote my website. I have tried AdSense and Facebok Ads, however it is getting very expensive.
Can you recommend something what works best for you?

Would appreciate, if you can have a quick look at my website and give me an advice what I should improve: http://janzac.com/
(Recently I have added a new page about Rockwall Investments and the way how normal people can make money with this company.)

I wanted to subscribe to your newsletter, but I couldn’t find it. Do you have it?

Hope to hear from you soon.

    P.S.
Maybe I will add link to your website on my website and you will add link to my website on your website? It will improve SEO of our websites, right? What do you think?

    Regards
    Jan Zac
